Global Cause 2: Hunger

We serve to improve human flourishing. We see how global hunger and nutrition crisis bears upon our local communities, and believe true community improvement depends on thinking of its members

Another very successful and fulfilling service project by our club thanks to the support of our community.

Thanks to all who contributed to the food, the cash donations or their time.

Lion Gerald, Sharen, Rosemarie, Marilyn, Renee, Michele, Mary, Loretta, Pat, Paul and myself shared the shifts in Haliburton & Wilberforce.

Lion Paul drove 7 km in to Wilberforce on his tractor to do his shift.

Mother Nature was kind, just a little chilly but no rain.

Lots of food donation in both Haliburton and Wilberforce and the cash donations in Haliburton were $694.50 and in Wilberforce, $391.35

Food and cash donations will be dropped off at the 4C's Food Bank in Haliburton and the Wilberforce Food Bank.
