The Haliburton Lions Enchanted Forest Service Project Just Keeps on Going!
It’s been a while, but we are back...back in winter...back even in The Covid Times!
The Haliburton and District Lions Club Enchanted Forest Service Project at Abbey Gardens made yet another delivery of a children’s play kitchen! On hand to welcome me and to accept the donation was Abbey Gardens Education Coordinator, Irene Heaven. The children’s play kitchen and a whole of host of accompanying accessories will be stored until the Enchanted Forest is once again underway in the spring. It was also exciting to use this opportunity to talk with Irene about future enhancements and activities planned for The Enchanted Forest this year. And, as I am sure you can guess, the Haliburton Lions are looking forward to continuing their commitment to assist in the refurbishing and expansion of the many wonderful learning and outdoor adventure opportunities in this delightful setting. So, I am already on the hunt. I will be back to share with you again soon and to let you know how you too can help the Lions to help others.
